found this link and it quit helpful, talks about a couple different problems mostly associated with cold temperatures. does a little thing on colors of exhaust smoke.i found it interesting as i haven't had some of these things explained to me before.

Good page, and a good explanation at the bottom of why the European car makers pull out of North America a couple years ago, and haven't been back until late this year. I wonder how this new fuel will affect our vans? Have to put more vegetable oil in from time to time? Recycle the engine oil into the fuel tank on a more regular basis? I don't know...

and another... they all kind say the same thing, just talkin about what color smoke means whats but its good to see its the same across all pages
