You need to look for a 'forming' shop, either plastic or fibreglass. Try somewhere that makes small pleasure boats.

Re: Looking for someone to make Delica Fender flair
Hi Mardy, Its actually a pretty easy process, I was making them from different colors to match each delica, head down to a shop like Industrial plastics and paint, they can sell you the reisin, cloth, everything you need to do it, I even made one set out of carbon fiber, the only problem is getting the extended door hinge, its a Big dollar item that very few are willing to pay for, even to sell it at cost as a bonus with the flares, the hinge alone is almost $300, well 300 when we were more on a even value..... I get alot of requests for the whole set up, but when the cost of the hinge comes up, people are scared away. What you need is a machinest , buy one hinge and have it done here .....

Re: Looking for someone to make Delica Fender flair
hi, noel,
thanks for the info, mind is just the small mid size flair like what i have on my deli.
its a nic eone no need to do modification on the door.
its just no time to do all this fiber glass thing. all i need is to copy this flair & made more if someone is working on the same manufacturing dealing with fiberglass. so it will be cheaper for all of us. as per this flair looks sharpewhen install in any deli.

Re: Looking for someone to make Delica Fender flair
While this is certainly true of some of the larger fender flares, I have seen several advertised that do not require any modification to the sliding door, possibly worth looking in to some of the smaller ones, they give a lot of the same look and functionality for most people (except those that have gone with huge tires) and would still probably sell well if you could get them for a reasonable price and without having to deal with overseas shipping.I get alot of requests for the whole set up, but when the cost of the hinge comes up, people are scared away

Hey can you send me a couple picts of the flairs you want made? From them I can let you know if I can make them. How much were you looking to sell the reproductions for?

Re: Looking for someone to make Delica Fender flair
I am in Edmonton Alberta. What I am looking for is picts of the flares inside and outside not on a van I want to see how much detail there is and how they mount. From that that it may be more cost effective to vac mold them instead of glass. This would make them flexable and more durable and hopefully less cost to other members. We could also talk about macthing color as I do work as a custom painter and fabricator. Have a look at our site some time juscuzcustoms.com
