maybe its too much to ask.
id like to borrow a full length roof basket for my trip to mexico. i could loan my short one in the meantime. i can also offer a damage deposit. ill be gone mid december for 6 weeks or two months.

I'd be glad to lend you mine, but I suspect it is an empty offer because:
a) I live in Calgary
b) it bolts into the drip rails, so you would have to remove the chrome trim
c) drill holes in the drip rail
d) get about 4 very strong people to move it (or a chain hoist above the vehicle)

i havent had time to post that mararmeisto, one hell of a nice guy, is loaning me his!! i knew it was alot to ask, and ill surely do big favours for others around here if they ask!

btw, erebus, the chrome trim tore off one side of my gutters the 1st time i went out 4x4in in my van! the stupid TV antenna thing got caught on a branch.

i hate chrome, i feel like a pimp with chrome trim and bars/steps. ive been waiting months to swap 'em for black with ccglen who has been waiting months for the bodyshop to make white ones black for me!

I hate chrome too, so I end up with a Delica with chrome brush bar, mirrors, side step, etc. Oh well.
