Hello,
I'm quite interested in these Delicas. Where is a good place to get one second hand, what sort of cost are they and what about servicing and parts?
Sorry if this has been gone over before.

Hi Karen,
Welcome.
All Delica's are used, they have to be over 15 years old to be imported into Canada. Price's seem to very, depending on the condition of the van and it's features. Also there is difference between importing yourself and buying from an importer, some of the importers on the Island seem to sell them at a fair price, starting at around $6900. They show up priced all the way to $15,000; but my second Delica I imported was less then perfect and people are shocked when I tell them how little I paid overall. I have nothing against importers, importing myself was awkward cause I work fulltime and had to really juggle things around to pick up the van, and deal with inspection and insurance. Then of course there is the great anticipation of waiting and wondering when your Delica will finally get off the boat and what it will really be like.
There's a few guys here in that boat.
Kevin

So where (if any) is a good place to find a second hand one that someone on this site is selling or just check the newspapers?

More Delicas arriving in Abbotsofrd too.
Hi Karen,
I bought my Delica at Abbotsford Japan Auto. http://www.abbotsfordjapanauto.com They also do all my mechanical work, at least for now, because my car came with a warrantee which really took some stress out of the purchase. Its a husband and wife operation, Shinji and Mayu and Shinji worked for Mitsubishi in Japan. Mayu mentioned today that they are expecting more Delicas next week (Nov 20 - ). I'm afraid to go look though. Mama woudl shoot me if I came home with another Deli. Hmmm... Well maybe if it was an automatic...... Pink?
