Just joined the Delicious Delica world

Post by Daisy Delish »

Greetings from down under, where we've just bought our new (to us) '94 L400 Delica Space Gear. Originally from Victoria, we're down on safari in the outback for the year, roaming around, trying not to get too stuck, hot, dusty or eaten... so far so good!

Daisy is white, basically stock, and soon to be modestly modified for sleeping/camping/roving music machine (*ahemsubwooferboom*). she's got new shoes (bfg ta ko's 30/9.5/15r) and the crystal lite roof (ahh, sleeping under the southern sky!).

We'll post photos soon of our adventures, travels and triumphs... just as soon as the hangover from our break-in voyage to the Hunter Valley subsides to manageable levels.

Looking forward to sharing, learning (mostly learning) and loving our new home.
TZ and KRS, happy new parents to Daisy Delish.

I'm sure that the Deli is well stocked with red wine now!

Whereabouts are you heading on your adventure? I'm from Tassie and the south east, so if you want any travel tips for that section of the wilderness, let me know!

we've just come back from a week's journey from central coast to griffith/coleambally and back, had a great time and finally saw some 'roos! daisy performed like a trooper, through wind, rain and heat, as well as locusts, and towing a load as well... what a girl.

we'll be heading down the south coast and around to melbourne to get to tasmania for feb/march, and back up along great ocean road to adelaide then back through griffith area (family obligations) to return to sydney for april. would love to hear/find some special spots in tas, understand it's a wonderful place.

look forward to hearing from you, and posting pics of our trip as we go.
