Owner's Repair Manual

Post by fostlongstrider »

Owner's repair manual.
I see that Japanoid are doing a repair manual at $65.
Can anyone tell me if it is any good and how can I contact them with a view to puchase one to be sent to my UK address for me to pick up next home leave.
I have registered interest in the one that a New Zealand company are trying to produce for the L300 but they need 150 votes of interest before they will produce it at $99NZD.

Ian,

Try this link.

You might want to check out the Russek manual. I hear its pretty good. Its from the lads in the UK. Thats my next bit of light reading.

I picked up Gregorys Autofix. Express Starwagon 87-94. Covers everything except the 2.5 diesel engine. I added the Haynes Pajero 83-96 for the diesel info.

I also downloaded a pdf file from the website here. 76 pages from a manual strickly on the 2.5 diesel. It reads like a Bentley manual. Very good. I ended up printing it off , throwing it in clear sleeves and sticking it in a 3 ring binder. I think its in Deli-Wiki

Hope this helps

You can reach Japanoid on line at: http://www.japanoid.com

I think you are referring to the "Russek Manual" (ISBN NO. 0-907779-89-1).

It is published by:

It was printed in England and copywrited in 1990

The copy I have, that I purchased from Japanoid, deals mainly in dimensions, weights, capasities; engine & running gear; electrical diagrams; practical applications such as setting up your headlamps &c.. The printing on this copy (more like a photocopy) is not the greatest but it is a useful manual to have around.

By the way, if you click on "Forum" in the upper left area of this web page, then scroll down into the "Delica Canada Technical", on the second line you will see "Visit Delica Wiki". Very useful.

Cheers! Falco.

I have a Russek manual for sale if anyone is interested. It's new, I just brought 2 back with me from my trip to the UK so you'd save the shipping...

Hey David,
Do you still have that Russek manual up for grabs? I would be interested in buying it from you if you do. I am having a hell of a time finding a mechanic in Saskatoon that will even look at my deli. I have a feeling I may have to bribe my more mechanically inclined friends with cold ones to have any work done on her. All I am trying to do is have a block heater installed and the thermostat changed. From the posts on this site it sounds like it may be a daunting task. The manual would be helpful I'm sure. Thx.

The repair manual the New Zealand company is ready to translate the one that looks like a shop manual, like what most of the wiki-pages are? That would be awesome!

If it's the same company I got the owner's manual from, I'm going to have to go back to their website and register MY interest.

Has anyone approached Mitsubishi for the English version of the shop manual? That might be an avenue to explore...

I still miss my '94 Pajero!
