more praise for CVI automotive!

Post by coaxial »

Preparing for a road trip into alberta next week so I just spent the afternoon with Butch at CVI taking care of a few maintenance and repair items. I've been to a few mechanics around the lower main land but I must say I'm very impressed with CVI. They had me in last-minute on a saturday, were very friendly, had all the parts I needed for a good price, let me do a lot of the wrenching myself and showed me several useful tricks. I learned a lot and got many things fixed and serviced on the van, it is now running like a top.

The bill at the end was surprisingly low, so I am quite happy. The same work at a different shop would have taken much longer and cost much more for sure. Well worth the drive down from north van :)

hmm, i wonder if it was you i spoke to briefly this morning about bike racks.

anyways, I too have had good experience with CVI.
from watching the rebuild of the IP to showing and explaining this and that.
i really like the fact that I can watch them work on our vans.
books are great but hands on is what works for me.

I have had a very similar experience with Butch & his staff. Where would we be without their help. Keep it up Butch. Jeff
