wvodesigns.com raw power centrifuge

Post by after oil »

hey folks

my raw power centrifuge arrived yesterday! i was so stoked becuase im leaving for mexico with it on tuesday.
i opened the package to discover that only one out of three legs arrived, and none of the hardware...

this is what did come, the bowl, the lid, and the housing...

i left the leg out of the photo

i got on the horn with leon, the creator of the raw power centrifuge right away.
we did some detective work and it seems that somebody at the post office in the US thought it would be funny to remove all the hardware and one of the legs
the package was retaped with usps tape. the box is undamaged otherwise.

leon is gonna fedex all the hardware and missing parts, and the heater, to an address where ill be staying a night or two in San Francisco.

after the initial disappointment wore off i went back to my shop to check the RPC out a little more closely. i think somebody at the PO dropped it or something and the threads for the pipe fittings were a little damaged. i had to do some banging and a little filing, but i got them to thread. one is slightly damaged, but theres plenty of threads to ensure it seals.

I'm pretty interested to see this working, hopefully you can get it setup before your trip.
