Wheel Lock
I put my Delica in 4 wheel drive for the first time today because of the snow and after a few min. the green "wheel lock " light came on. Is this normal? and should it stay on once you have gone back into 2wd ?

Checkout this thread: http://www.delica.ca/forum/4x4-mode-on- ... -4290.html Short answer is you have to put in back into 2wd then back up a few meters to unlock the hubs. Worry less about the dash lights than the sounds, the position of the transfer case shifter, and keeping track of your hub's position - locked or unlocked

Happy Day!

Re: Wheel Lock
Bonjour,
To cancel the "Wheel Lock" light you have to, on a nice flat suface with the wheels straight drive backward 10 to 15 feet (IN 2WD) to unlock the auto hubs. Once you drive forward again the light will go out.
You can leave the wheels locked if you wish to be able to access 4HI without having to relock the hubs,if you are going in and out of crappy conditions.

Worth a read and highlights the importance of not using 4x4 in the wrong conditions.
Right on
