Excellent,

Seems like you have been preparing for this for quite a while so enjoy!
I don't see the surfboards on the Deli but pretty much everything you could need for sure!
Remember the family that get a cool 15 year old tubo-deisel import and then filters wvo and then loads their van up and goes to Mexico during a B.C winter together....stays together!

Have Fun!
Thanks 4 all the posts!
Right on 8-)

greetings from snowy kelso washington!
nice to meet konadog and *edit* wookie on the way!

my rig handled great today on snowy hwys.i stopped near belfair wa to fillup4free compliments of tom berrnink who i found on the fillup4free site. i averaged about 90kmh but went as slow as 60kmh on I5 following the big rigs.
too cold to camp (according to the wife) so we got a motel for the night. tomorrow after a stop at REI inportland for a roll up table and good folding chairs were gonna head for the coast!

hi
weve been driving pretty slow, 80-100kmh... even less sometimes. there was snow and ice on the I5
we left the I5 at salem and headed to the balmy oregon coast and camped at the dunes. it was snowing and hailing on us there.

we camped in a camprground on hwy 101 in the redwood and check out the big tree before heading back to the coast.

ill bet a low roof p25 with 235's would fit...

averaging about 25 kmh we wound our way down to and along the coast, hwy 1. it was great to finally escape the winter storms! in mendocino county, we stopped for lunch in a tiny town called point arena . kinda reminded me of lasquiti island. everyone was friendly and they all new each other. they were also very stoked about the delica! we stopped to check out the view and the new climate and just relax and enjoy the scenery.

by dinner time we made it SF!!

we drove so far 1865km and burned 290 liters of WVO. turns out the 15l jugs actually hold 20l! we filled up with 20l from a guy in belfair wa, and we still have 60 liters left

one really gets a good idea for shifting points, for using the auto transmission for braking and downhills, and for overdrive on and off when doing such a major drive. i love this vehicle. i love my delica so much.

we're gonna chill here for a few days, assemble the centrifuge, collect some wvo, look around town a bit, and carry on before the holiday the call december 25

Good for you guys!

I've done that trip twice, all the way to the southern tip of Baja and it's a great road trip.

On you first pictures it made me wonder if you had any room left to move or sleep inside your van! Good pictures!
Sounds like your veggie is working great, good for you!

Take care, makes lots of friends and even better experiences!

Was thinking about you two while watching snow in Malibu on CNN.

Think I recognize a hose there, glad to hear the set up and operating went well. Try not to complain about the southern cold on the forum, some people feel you’re rubbing it in when we do that. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.

Peace
