Early bird.
Hi Adam,
I'm going to head up there as early as I can. I have to see the campsite managers, find the place and take care of any unforeseen details. I don't know yet how early "early" is exactly because I often wake up around 4:00 a.m. I expect to meet BCDelica up there pretty early too. We're thinking there may be an opportunity to tutor some worms on swimming techniques.

To any of the Island guys (and you to Jackie :D ), we plan on taking the 3pm ferry (Fri the 30th) for a 4:30pm arrival at Horseshoe Bay and hope to be at the camp site around 6pm.
I'll meet up with anyone who timings are close!! :) :)
But I do have to stop in Harrison and give the Deli a quick rinse and wax just to keep up appearances !

Coming from the North?
Hi Doc,
Yep, I think if I was coming from the north and through Hope, I would find the Hwy 7 junction and take highway 7 west to Morris Valley road and turn to the right and head north. That will put you on track to follow the rest of the instructions at viewtopic.php?t=262 .
You may prefer to stay on the #1 until you get to the Agasis Rosedale junction and turn right and head north there until you reach the #7 junction, at which point you will turn left and head west, carrying on to Morris Valley road.
Morris Valley road is at a tiny burg called Harrison mills, Don't blink! There are two roads that head north out of Harrison Mills and Morris is the right or east fork. I think there's still a sign.
I have some lime green flag tape. If its reasonable to do so, I hang about 2 feet of it at each junction after Harrison Mills. When you get to a fork in the road, look for green tape, go that way.

I'm just waiting on a friend.....
HI Gang,
If I had to pick a rally point and if my rally time weren't very precise, I would want to choose a spot where I could reasonably sit and wait for a while. While sitting in a Deli is always nice, sitting by the side of the road isn't, always. You could choose to meet at someplace like the Knight and Day restaurant at Broadway and Boundary so earlier arrivals could go and have a coffee while they wait. If I were choosing a spot to wait though, I would meet at the Princess Auto on United Blvd in Coquitlam. Early arrivals can grab a few last minute items and play tag up and down the isles of toys ( er, tools, I mean tools) while they wait. Once everyone is there, somebody please get a picture of all the Delis with their passengers standing next to them with the store in the background and I'll send it to Mat, the webmaster at Princess Auto.
Where's Princess Auto? Its near the toy store, Lee Valley Tools! Haven't been there yet??? Ask your wife/girlfriend where the Ikea is and your almost there. Just over the tracks and turn right.
