Cheers.
I have had good dealings with Mardy at Amazing Auto Imports In richmond.
I purchased mine from what is commonly known as a "Deli Farm", which is an unlicensed individual who brings in up to six vehicles a year as a side income. Depending who you go through this can be a great way to buy a Delica. In this department I would recommend "39 Ronin", you can PM him under that name from this site and he operates out of Squamish. The guy I got mine from is not currently selling Delicas but if he gets back into it I would have no hesitation to recommend him.
Regarding Dealerships: The first two names to come to mind as reputable would be "Japanoid" & "Amazing Autos". Apart from my experience there are also threads on this site that discusses this issue:
My experience with my Starwagon has been a very pleasant one. It is important that you do your own research and find out what has been done to your prospective Delica and what should be done.
Another forum that you might find useful on this site is "Delica Wiki", which you will find listed on the forum page.
Good luck and happy hunting... smiles

Like the other guys said, there are some threads on dealers already and one should even have dealer ratings.
I bought mine from Mardy at Amazing Auto Imports just this past September and I couldn't have asked for a better experience or Delica. You wouldn't be dissapointed if you were to contact Mardy.

Thanks for the plug Falco. A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, .... I have been known to help a few guys get vehicles from Japan but I guess I had too many of my own rules to follow (SHAKEN cars only) so... I have not been to CBSA (customs) for about a year. I would be more than happy to give advice to anyone thinking about importing or buying a Delica.
You will find many people (including me) who got their Delicas through Japanoid and who are happy with the vehicles, the import process and the after-sale service. You will find many such stories.
I have developed a high opinion of Coombs Country Auto. Glen and Graham are good people and terrificly knowlegable about these
vehicles. They specialize in repair but also import and sell through a local dealer in Parksville. I would talk to them if I were you.

I recently (2 months ago) picked up my Delica from Mardy @ Amazing Auto and I have to say that my experience with Mardy could not have been any better! I have no problem recommending you get your Delica with Mardy, you won't be disapointed!!
We bought ours from a guy who imported though Mardy. So far no issues, great van , lots of road trips with no real issues.I think he has a buyer in Japan who knows his stuff. There are lots of Delicas that seem to be sluffed off to local dealers ,who dont know better or dont care, cleaned up and passed on down the line.Cant go wrong with Mardy

I had a very positive experience with Max Overdrive in Richmond, resolved the two (minor) issues i had when i purchased the van quickly and at no cost to myself.
