you can't adjust the headlights without them. however the ones on the replacement lights are weak, I find a good way to deal with it is to swap in the adjusters from the original headlights as they tend to be much better.

the ones on the cheap replacement lights are weak (like the ones I had and ccautos replaced them with ones from stock lights) I'm told though that the Depo brand ones are much better but that is just hearsay.

My Depo head lamp adjusters were bad, they were stripped. I got some originals off another incoming Delica ~ they are a little better but I don't think I got a good set. A little graphite or lithium might help. What I think; is it may not be the adjusters themselves that are the main culprits, per se, but the key that they are turning could be the stiff opposition.

if you want to send me a pre stamped or postage paid envelope along with the one that is shot so I can match it, I can send you one, I have a box full of things like that, I always keep the old wiring harness and the adjusters from the stock lights, they come in handy . send me an email if you would like to do that.chrisbouchard wrote:is there a way to adjust the headlights without them? is this a common problem? i must admit its a pretty hoakey adjustment system.
