Had an oopsie.

Post by Delicanagan »

I had a wee little mishap with my wife's Delica. I'm getting cold in my kidneys from sleeping on the porch and really need to make this "right".

I've got to find a replacement ladder for the rear...it's the one that's slightly crooked and made from stainless steel.

I also need the plastic strip across the rear lift gate...the red plastic where it says DELICA...

Mardy, I haven't heard back from you in well over a month, so am assuming you either haven't got the parts I need or haven't got around to taking them off. Either way I need to look elsewhere. If you do have them and intend to make a sale, I'll leave it in your hands to contact me. It's your turn.

If anyone else out there can offer a hint, hand or heads up, I'd be eternally grateful and will leave my castle in Ireland to you in my will. ;)

This is the same ladder and you can reference this pic for the plastic trim piece I need as well...goes from one tail light to the other across the lift gate:

the plastic trim should be easy enough and I bet CCAutos and Mardy both have that in stock...

Ladders... that is a lot trickier, ladders are very rare, and tend to get snapped up the moment they appear.

Our sympathy. Ladders are very hard to find, and the curved one is rarest. Can you take the oopsed ladder to a muffler welding shop and have them fix it? Our local shop rewelded our side step to cut out and replace the rusted areas. Might be cheaper than a new kidney, definitely cheaper than divorce. Christine.
