dimmer switch?

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

driving on on the highway at night if it's pitch black out I'll usually throw a cloth (my windshield cleaning rag that lives up front) over the speedo & tach area. Helps the night vision a lot. I peek under every so often to make sure I've still got fuel and I'm not accidentally driving 200km/h :-)

I'm sure this is more info than you are looking for :-) , but it would probably be pretty easy to wire in a dimmer.. trace the positive wire from the dash lights fuse (the top left one) and add a 12v DC dimmer (salvaged from another car, or I see there are some one ebay for $20). Just make sure there is nothing on that circuit other than interior lights and nothing that would be harmed by a drop in voltage. I suspect there isn't.

There is only so many places to look for it on the dash.
