I am in Victoria. A friend has one, so I might offer to trade my crew cab F350 for him to do some heavy hauling for a few days and get my wife to drive it and see what she thinks...

My wife felt the same way when i got my Delica but after trying it a couple of times [ the Lagoon is a good place to go ] she actually liked it and now coincidently we just put a deposit on an L400 for her from Mardy, she can't wait.
If you get her to try a LHD make sure it's a Delica , they have great visiblity and that makes them really easy to get used to driving.
