Remote Control Mini Delica Model - Just ordered
Hi guys,
I did a quick search so as not to post something that has been posted before.... as the search came back negative, I thought I'd post this.... if somebody saw and posted this before, please bare with me.... I found it quite funny...
Does anybody know where one could find such a mini-model?
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Remote Control Mini Delica Model
Chris,
I saw that clip awhile back , and it looks to me like the guy mounted the Deica Body ont oan old RC frame. ( Notice at the very end how the body is crooked after doing the Falco Flop off the carton of smokes)
I managed to track down a 1/24 scale model, and was thinking about picking one up.
Here's the link :

Let me know and maybe we can group an order .
Cheers

Re: Remote Control Mini Delica Model
If you can find a 1/24 scale model it should be easy to mount the body on a Tamiya Tamtech RC chassis. Tamtechs are pushing over 20years old themselves now so they might be a little difficult to locate as well...

Re: Remote Control Mini Delica Model
Hi Golf Cart,
I will definitively take one... How should we co-ordinate?
I can order a bunch and divide it up... Should definitively be more economical to order a bunch rather than just one....
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Remote Control Mini Delica Model
Hey Guys,
just a quick update... I actually just ordered 4 units....
I'll keep one for myself.... if somebody wants one please let me know.... They amount to U$ 18.00 a piece and I'll break down the actual shipping cost into four and add the individual portion onto each unit....
Should be in the area of about Can $ 28.00 per piece (pending exchange rate on date of charge) - but not much more than that... What I don't know is if Canada will charge me also some sort of GST or import duty... this I would have to break down and add to the cost per unit as well - but that too shouldn't be too crazy...
Anyway, let me know if you would like to get one... I'm in North Vancouver and I can take them to one of the upcoming meets or meet up with lower mainland Delica-people somewhere....
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Remote Control Mini Delica Model - Just ordered
Hi everybody
I guess I should have ordered 10 or so... suddenly the pm's are coming in....
Just so everybody is clear: What I have ordered are NOT remote control miniatures... they are just "glue them together yourself" models....
Unfortunately all the 4 units I have ordered are already spoken for...
If everybody else who wanted one or is yet to come forward and want one, is serious I would place a second order... too bad, could have saved a bit more in terms of shipping charges...
Let me know how serious you are / if you are still in... and I will probably place another order (I'm not making anything on these things, by the way)
At present - out of the 4 that I have ordered (and that have yet to arrive) the following are spoken for:
1. Myself - one unit
2. Golf Cart - one unit
3. Dfnder - two units (have to meet up somehow... since you are in Squamish , correct?)
Sorry that I didn't order more in the first place... but I didn't want to end up sitting on half a dozen or so....
Cheers, Chris

Well, would be a good excuse to skip church on a Sunday and make a mini run up to Squamish. We could say a few Hail Mary's while scarfin down a box of Tim Bits
