I might have the Falcon out for it's maiden voyage right around that time. Would be great to meet up. Keep any happenings regarding date, time and place posted here and hopefully I can make it.

You've never heard of the Delinnium Falcon? It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs...

Re: The next meet?
I am not to sure when the Deli will be here. Mardy said sometime in April. If I had to guess, it would be closer to the end of April
That would be fun if we could caravan back to Calgary
We are planning on staying one night in Salmon Arm at a hotel with a pool so the kids can play. Then one night in Invermere at a friends house. We are going to go for a splash in the Hot Springs while we are ther too. Are kids are 3 and 5, so we want to break up the drive back a bit. Not too sure if that fits your plans. Hey Mardy, if your reading maybe your could firm up the arrival date

Jason,
I'm heading to Vancouver around the 9th, returning around the 15th. If it works out, you could get a ride with me to Vancouver, then drive in convoy with Delicat and myself back!

Thanks Erebus! I don't think we will be lucky enough to make it out there that soon though
I don't know if you want a 3 and 5 year old with you on the trip anyway. We would have to do some seat belt mods, and I could hear them now " Fred open the shades! Now close them he he he" could go on for hours

Ah, I hadn't realized you bring the whole brood. Of course a roll or two of duct tape can take the place of seatbelts, and have the added advantage of preventing audio pollution (if done right).

Erebus! How was the trip? How did the service go? Did you notice an improvement on the way back?
Just curious

It was a fantastic trip, from sleeping under the light of the full moon to seeing GREEN foliage -- those not living in an arid area might not fully appreciate what that means -- to sunny Vancouver area. Yes, I have now spent time in the Vancouver area twice, and both times it has been sunny and warm.cinjay wrote:Erebus! How was the trip? How did the service go? As for the service at CVI. I no longer have fuel dripping onto the ground, it no longer sends out clouds of black smoke, and it appears to start much better. Power is down, a side effect of reducing fuel flow. Fuel economy is up, but not as much as I had hoped. I'll probably adjust the fuel to increase power slightly.
