It looked the same as the one pictured, just 2 years earlier.
Well sort of, in 1968 they released the Delica pickup truck, in 1969 they released the van (which appeared very much as the picture above shows (just like my 1991 looks basically the same as a 1993). Interestingly though the 4x4 option wasn't added until 1982

Interesting, my cousins (Family of 6) had one exactly the same as the yellow 1979 model, only white... it was called "Marvo the Wondervan". They also had one the same as the yellow 1984, only it was bright yellow, and called "Custard".
Many a good time had in those vans, and they were great for hauling their four boys around in.
