Maintenance in the Lower Mainland BC

Post by oneoldstickman »

I'm sure someone's asked and said before, but I couldn't find it.
Does anybody know a good mechanic in the Fraser Valley? North Van seems to be quite the drive in the wrong direction for me. Somewhere between Surrey and Chilliwack would be ideal.

Cheers!

Some people even come from Calgary to get the service done at CVI in Richmond. You don't probably need them for an oil change, but for everything else it's worth the drive.

CVI is excellent and I even drive there from North Vancouver for an oil change.

However, there are good places in the Valley. Parkside in Langley comes to mind; talked to him once on the phone, never been there but he posts quite a bit in this club and appears to know what he is talking about. He does mods, I'm sure if he didn't do general maintenance he could point you to who does. There is that Japanese guy in .... Abbotsford? Someone help me here please....

When you use the search engine and "general maintenance" doesn't turn anything up ~ try individual topics like "oil Change" or "alignment", & c., There should be reams of threads on various general maintenance themes. "Mechanic" turns up 823 matches.

That would be Shinji Oue from Abottsford Japan Auto, my understanding is that he is a factory trained Mitsubishi mechanic. Thats where I got Duke. :M

Well as you can see Falco, it's still a bit tight on him. I put him on a strict protein diet to lose weight but those pesky pedestrians keep jumping out of the way! :o But he loves it!

Oh, come on, I've only had my Deli to CVI twice :-D . A great excuse for a road trip! And only about 3 or 4 of the other Calgary Deli owners have been.
