Ever got a note?

Not meaning from the cute girl sitting across from you in class ;)
Noticed today that I had a note in my windshield. We just got a
thundershower..
Maybe I should have named the thread.. ever got a note that the
rain has washed half of the writing off of?

I know there is a new Delica in Saskatoon, or just outside of town.
Here's the note:

How frustrating.
I almost feel like stenciling a contact email onto
my vehicle :) Now if I had a delica.ca sticker ;)

Wow.... like cryptic, dude. Actually, being a work related van, I have my cel number plastered on the side of the van. One day a cete of Delicas set off from Vancouver, east on the Lougheed Highway to probably the West Harrison Lake area. Meanwhile, we are passing through Maple Ridge in a convoy of around four, if memory serves me, and my cel starts ringing. Potentially being for work ~ I pick up the phone:

• "Avalon"....
  Hey, man.... are you driving that weird van?
  ...ummmm.....
  like we are in the blue car that just passed you, where do you get them?
  ....well ~ you.....
  like they are so cool, man! Do you find it weird, you know.... "being on the other side"?
  God no. I was born for this, baby!
  Like we just passed a whole bunch of these really cool vans and your number was on one of them! Pretty cool, eh?

The conversation went on for what seemed ten minutes and I told him about Delica.ca and ways to obtain a Delica, &c., for all I know the guy got one and is reading this now..... .... or not. I just gotta say that it was pretty surreal having that conversation.

I have had multiple notes on mine... i think its due to being rare enough of a vehicle up north. Most go along the lines of "this is such a cool vehicle, if you ever want to sell it call me at _____"

I always find it quite flattering, and usually call suggesting where they can acquire one.

Hey Firesong,
That was me that left the note on your deli. I came by to introduce myself. The name is Quinton. I think I was the first deli in Sask. When I registered with SGI they had to make a new code for their computer system. It was definitely a pleasant suprise when I saw another deli roaming the streets of Toon Town.
I thought it may be beneficial for us to know each other seeing how these machines are so rare in Sask and repairs can be costly. If we can work out minor problems that we have encountered it may save us a bundle of cash. Do you know of a good mechanic in or around town? My deli is not sounding too healthy at the moment and I need to get her in sooner than later.
I actually live in your area, across from Wildwood park, about 4 blocks southwest of you. My digits are 373-0598. It would be great to get together some time.

But I noticed it after the brief shower the day before
I found it :)
