Would somebody like to have a Bumperette?

Post by impalator »

What a cool word.... "Bumperette"....

Anyway, I just had a trailer hitch mounted last week and now have a Bumperette (white painted) if anybody is interested....

Cheap.... - Don't need it anymore... let me know...

Cheers,
Chris

Save it, you can turn that thing into a chopper's handlebar.

Looks like an E&H job. Where did you get it done?

Can you snap a few images of where it was welded to the frame?

It is indeed a E&H job... not all that cheap... but really like the way they did it...

It is actually not welded onto the vehicle - but bolted with some heavy duty massive honking bolts.... wow... when I looked underneath I was surprised... I guess that thing could pull more weight than the strongest Deli could ever pull...

Will post a few pics on the weekend as to where it was mounted...

Cheers,
Chris

How much exactly?? We're moving to Ontario in August and can't decide if I want to spend the money or not. I probably should as no one in Onterrible will know how to install one.

I got the basic wiring and the receiver / ball thing and all and with tax it came to around $ 570.00

But it appears to be well done and I like the fact that it's bolted... if I ever wanted to, it could easily be removed...

I have a hitch assembly for $150.00 its pretty skookum but needs to have some tabs welded on so that it can extend to the frame. I had it on for a while but it wouldn't hold the leverage of my Big Phat Mountain bikes. Should be good for a small trailer as is or weld those extensions to the frame and it'll be "BEEF" Moooo.

PM me for info on it and an image..

Just wondering where you got the hitch. I'm looking for one too.

Thanks,

Rick

Just read the whole post and you'll find your answer. :-) And like Delicanadabc said, you can use the search function too. There are tons of postings about hitches.
