It's about time!

Well I finished my Elsbett single tank in stall tonight, filled the tank with WVO (the needle was on E with Dino) and Drove it from Sidney to James Bay, no noticeable difference, I'm eager to see how she starts in the morning but it's looking really promising. I'm 100% WVO now :)

I will do my best to get pics posted in the next day or 2.

Good job. Nice to see some variety out there. It must be nice not having to deal with fitting a second fuel tank. So how much do you think you're install cost in total? I know the kits are more, and the install is more technical, but it might be worth it seeing as the 2nd fuel tanks are such and expense and hassle.

the kit is about $1500 and comes with everything you need, pump, hoses, clamps, tees, valves, injector nozzle inserts wire. I just needed my time which is always in short supply :). not having to mess with a second tank and the electric valves and stuff was nice I guess but I have no comparison. The only real downside I can see to these kits would be the instructions aren't very good, but now that I have done one I wouldn't have much trouble with another. also there is the cold weather limitation but that shouldn't be much of an issue in Victoria and it wont kill me to have to run a tank or 2 of diesel in the winter. If anyone wants a closer look at the kit install PM me and we can figure out a time and a place to meet up.

I got it from the us site, but it is painfully obvious that the store section is the same store as the German site with some stuff in English :) the kit was shipped from Germany (to Sydney Australia by mistake the first time, then to Sidney BC :)) and didn't take long once they shipped it to the right country lol.

Really though the install can be done in a long day if your good or better a weekend or long weekend if you have a friend or 2 that are reasonably competent and willing to lead a hand, of course one thing would need to be taken care of before you dive in (unless you are ok with the van sitting for a little bit) which is getting a second set of injectors and having the new nozzles installed and shimmed properly, I was able to get this done for free at my dad yacht repair company but should be able to be handled simply by any injection specialist.
