Nice job on the roof racks and ladders! I think we'll be good on the ladder, but very interested in a rack. Questions: is it removable? and what is the cost for high roof Delica Super Exceed with crystalite roof?
Going on a X-Canada journey next month (leaving Aug. 15), so limited time as well.

Many thanks. Oh, and I'm in Vancouver. :-)

Hey Andy.
Just got back home from the Island tonight. What an awesome ladder. Light as a feather.
I love the way you do business, the old fashioned way, on a hand shake or e-mail. He left the ladder at the most beautiful residence on the Island (can't say where). It was a , "if there is no one home, jut leave the money under a mat" kind of deal.

Saving my buttons for a rack now, hopefully.

Thanks again for the great ladder, now if I just had a Delica to attach to it.

James

Thanks to Andy for getting my rack and ladder done for the Smellica in time with short notice. I was coming to Port Hardy from Edmonton and coincidentally close to Andy's place. Also picked up a ladder for my friend in Edmonton.
Great work: a welder on our spearfishing trip commented on the high quality work. Andy also put a spare and jackall holder on the rack- I'll post a pic with them mounted later.

Any day hunting fish, holding your breath, and surviving is a good one! But yes, managed to get a few for the freezer and the camp stove last week.

Thanks again.

Hello Andy, did you get around to making the roof racks and ladders? If you did I'd like a rack same as yours and a black ladder possibly like terzo for a low roof delica,, Im in the uk but i have family in kitchener, they will pay and Ill ship it to western Australia. No rush due to the climate wont need it till march 2010. Thanks Paul.

Forget the above I was on page 1 of the thread when I'd made my mind up to post you, Yes you did make them and they look great. Please , theres no rush and I'll pay you up front, can i, can i, please have the ladder with mesh in black and your rack with the delica wind shield in black. Not needed till march 2010.
Thanks , even more green with envy, Paul.

Ps, I would also like to put an awning on the side and the brackets look perfect for a flat back awning, however i would like to attach it at the front of the van, and would like a rail the same colour/design for the awning and also to put some spot lights on.(easy for a man of your caliber) cheers

Hey Patty

I never did get around to the low roof ladders as the bulk of my summer I ended up "playing" Mechanic instead of Fabricator. I ended up having to put an engine into my van after having a timing failure (it seems the pin from the cam shaft pulley sheared).

With it being all fixed up now (I am super pleased with the engine I got. It really goes) I have been taking some orders again.

I can't give you a definite time-line on how soon I can have low roof ladders because I don't own one and I have to measure a friends to get started. With the school year started now I am not sure when I will have a chance to do this. PM me if you are really keen and I will make it happen.

Hey Al thanks. I bought the van with the 3" shackles and torqued-up bars in the front. There are Geolander 275/70X15 tires I think. I just bought a nice set of older 4-Runner wheels- I want to get them powder coated black and put some 31's on them.
Andy's rack and ladder really cinched the look!
I don't have a lot of pics of the van but I'll put up a few that I have.

Does anybody in the lower mainland area have a ladder from Andy? Would be interested to have a closer look.
