WoW. im on the island visiting. never seen so many delis on the road in my entire life...
ok one of them was parked in a driveway down by Neck Park in Nanaimo...

a couple of white ones between coombs/parksville, one with a surfboard, and a green one in a driveway, and one in a car lot...

very impressed...
is this the Deli capital of canada or something??

Definitely a lot in that area, but I think the most delica populated place is Squamish (just driving through you can see 10), followed by various places on the island. . Tofino area sure has a lot, and all over the south end and east coast too.

i routinely count 10 to 15 delis on a round trip from comox to victoria

6-10 per day in Vancouver at least

1-4 per day - commuting Nvan to downtown & return daily + usual weekend out & about.
Will be off to Qualicum for 4 days vacation early Aug via Victoria (didn't make reservations to Nanaimo early enough on the long weekend so figured we'd make a pit stop in the capitol for fun!) - Will get the kids to do a count North Van to Qualicum & report back....should keep them entertained while en route!
