Posting photos...?

Post by Drumster »

I wanted to put up a photo Mark of Brave Autos sent me showing off not only the new DOT approved head lights but also the brand spanking new OEM front turn signal modules Yoda is now sporting as well. It looks freakin' great. They make the original old ones look... well, old. :-D

I know lots of people post great big pics here but when I try I always get the "file too large..." sort of msg.
Now, I'm admittedly very digitally challenged and it's probably a no-brainer for some of you more computer savvy folks so maybe someone could help me out a bit. I just saved image to desktop & then tried posting it here through "browse", but it was rejected. Any hints... what am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
I'm here to learn.

you can resize them in windows paint: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/47441-how ... paint.html
you can download a windows resizer http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/usin ... lman2.mspx
i upload them with an online image hoster that allows them to be resized as they upload http://imageshack.us/ it gives you a link to copy and paste into your post.. super simple, but your photos then wont appear in the thumbnails in the top corner or bottom of the page

I used the windows resizer one.
You can select a group of Pics,
right click on em then pick "resize" as
it become an option to your mouse menu
after you download the program.
I pick "large" which is the 3rd choice down I think.
They look great and the site no longer tells me
it's too large a file.

Right on! 8-)
