i just took a fantastic summer voyage! it stared sunday morning aug 2 for a night at the Bonfire Festival near pender harbor. what a great show featuring BC jam bands, headlined by Phish Tribute band BFFCFM
then down the coast, across the border, and into the North Cascades for some camping and mountaineering!! we climbed 4000 feet to a 6800 foot peak with an old forestry lookout cabin perched atop it .

the Marshall in winthrop

we drove over the mountains and into the desert. i had to let the space antelope cool down some near rainy pass on hwy 20
we arrived a the gorge thursday at dark. and unbelievably, the only other delica at the gorge was parked for camping right next to us!!! a nice van with a WVO conversion also. maybe 100 hippies over the weekend stopped by to see the busses and get the tour. they loved it. its the perfect tour vehicle (next fall: Phish in Indio,CA!!!woooooo!!!)

we stopped off in seattle for the night after the shows.
i burned almost 300 liters of WVO on the trip. not sure, but i estimate about 1600kms...
