If you can find a good Safari for a good price, grab it.

They are bulletproof. Gear driven timing, solid axles and tons of room inside.

Worldwide parts support from Nissan even here in Canada.

Delica/pajero's don't hold a candle to the ruggedness and reliability of the Safari/Patrols.

What I love about them is you can walk into any Nissan dealership and say I have a 94 Patrol/Safari and need ... Insert part here ... And they just order it for you.

No wierd looks, no hassle at getting genuine OEM parts.

Love it

Even better than the Toyota Land Cruisers? I've never heard of them until I joined this site.

I am thinking of a petrol, Grandroad wide body, long wheel base. Not sure what the fuel will be like. I have heard they are not great but the alternitive is a Suburban.

why the gasser? I'm not sure if the bulletproof engine applies to the gasser as well as the diesel.

I dont need the hassles of diesel in the winter. I am selling my diesel Delica and thinking of bringing in another Delica and a Safari both in petrol. My van is a bear to start in the winter.
