Rent a roof rack?

Post by tomanique »

Hi all

We are renting a cabin up at Manning for Christmas and of course we'll be driving Frankendeli. The problem is there'll be 7 of us in the van, so there'll be no seat for the turkey. Is there anyone out there who would be able to lend or rent a roof rack(for a high roof) to us for the week over Christmas. I know, I know.. we'll have to eventually breakdown and buy one but we'd rather spend the money on lift tickets right now.

Thanks

Tom

Just thought he might have 500$ vice the usual 1200$+ a custom one would cost.

Hello Tomanique!

I have a large Pod that fits the high roof, if it works for you I`d rather you borrow it then rent it... :-D If you want to see how it looks search for "Don`t buy a lift kit" (I think there`s a picture on that post)

Let me know!
Cheers.

Got a loaner thanks to David! Also thank you deLOOKA for the offer. Figure I'll strap the turkey to the bambi bars, it'll make me look like a big time game hunter.

Cheers
