I'm still waiting for my Deli but apparantly from what i've been told the CD player in my glove box is not operational and the radios that come with the Delicas arent the greatest at picking up the local FM stations. I'm considering getting XM or Sirius, so I'm curious to know if anyone here on the island would have a recomendation for a stereo installer that might be familiar with the Delicas? Cheers!

Do a search on this site and you'll find a number of threads to do with stereo installations. I've had work done by Ralph's and Island Audio in Victoria and was happy w/ both.
Shop around and look for free installs with purchase e.g. Ralph's, A&B, Island Audio. They've all seen Delica's lately and the wiring harness etc is pretty standard.
Having said that I was replacing the rear speakers and to make a long story short proceeded to smash up the rear right hand panel when I flipped the bench back into place and the female end of the seat belt went through the panel. Glued the bits and pieces back into place and will see if I can live w/ it. Sigh...

something to watch for in these vehicles... some of the plastic has become quite fragile with age... I put my thumb through the plastic of one of the upper rear speaker grills when reassembling it too... :(Having said that I was replacing the rear speakers and to make a long story short proceeded to smash up the rear right hand panel when I flipped the bench back into place and the female end of the seat belt went through the panel.
