I keep getting busy and forgetting to keep this active. This shelf is collecting dust in my shop. Anyone getting a stereo for Christmas and need a shelf for their new 6x9's?

I'm open to offers. It's taking up room in my house, and I would really like to see it in the back of someone's van. I'm surprised by the total lack of interest in this - this was one of the number one items I wanted when I bought my van. I'll start the price at $150 (which barely covers materials) and the highest bid above this by next friday, the 18th gets it - or the first person to pay the asking price. One thing I can say for sure is that I won't be making any more of these - so if you are interested, get it while you can.

any idea how this one for sale would fit in an L400?

Hi Noel - This piece exactly fits the roof profile of the L 300 - it's extremely unlikely that it would fit an L 400.

As far as making pieces for an L 400 - I can't see it happening until I own one, which won't be happening soon. There is so much time involved making templates and creating prototypes, that I would have to sell a lot of them to recover this expense. I can't seem to sell even one speaker shelf. When I'm making something for myself, I do it during my time off, then offer it to the delica community at just the cost of making it, and not the cost of making and designing.

I've seen the one in Glenn's deli and it looks and sounds great. Well worth the money. I'd buy it in a flash if I had a high roof L300. Too bad it doesn't fit my low roof.

I Completly understand about how much work goes into making the prototypes and all the work, with my roof racks I get the same thing, Expected to have 10 sets all different sitting around at all times, and then sell for the cost of just the raw un worked material lol
If you do get the chance and want to make one for an L400 clr I will pre-pay for one

Hey Glenn - do you have any more of these? or any other l300 gear for that matter? love the look of the speaker enclosure and the front console you do. anyway...interested in anything you may still have around.

Hi, thanks for asking about these. Yes, they are still available as a custom piece for your delica if you are interested. The price would be the original $250. I made a few of these on spec, and while everyone liked them, no one was buying. So, I discounted the one's I had that were just sitting around. Same goes for the consoles. Both are an awesome improvement to the stock interior. PM if you need more info.
