Well, I installed it and according to my multimeter, it has a 34ohm of resistance, so for a 400 watt element, it should be wired correctly, although it didn't help too much.

It was only -4 the other morning, but I plugged it in at 5am before my 7am start time, and it didnt seem to do too much. The truck always starts first click in the morning and almost starts itself, so it was smooth, but I wouldnt say too much smoother than usual. I just had to idle for a minute less and it didn't lurch away the first block as per usual. Im sure when Im in area's that its colder I'll notice the difference. I was expecting the heater to be warmer much faster, but I guess since that it only heats a fraction of the coolant in the heater systems, that it wouldnt help the heater much. Oh well.

I think we could probably benefit from a higher wattage heater, but Im no expert, and Im not even sure if it would fit since this one barely went in? Im sure not getting coolant all over my face again to try it out :). Either that, or it needs to be plugged in longer?
