Hi guys and gals,
Have used the search function and found some info on rear shocks for 2" lifts, Procomp s9000/s3000, etc. Would these fit a 3" lift, and are they a straight swap or do they need a bit of modding to fit? Any other suggestions for shock replacement? Will be getting RJD to put them in, but need to find part numbers for them. Happy New year, and thanks in advance.

Depends on your lift, longer shackles? Extra leaf? Body lift?

Sorry, should have mentioned how it's lifted. It's been lifted with block and shackles, no extra leaf, and running 31 x 10.5's. Didn't do it myself, it was already lifted when bought. Hopefully, will have better luck with new shocks, as the last ones only lasted a few months (Kaltire put on ones that were too short, causing leakage and failure). Thanks again.

Nick,
I just looked at my stock ES9000 box and the part number is 919520, and I was told the 195 means 19.5 inches of travel. So if you lifted 3 inches you either need to put a 3 inch block on the shock or get one that has 22.5 inches of travel.
Delicats lift kit was 2 inch shackles and he put in a 2 inch block on the bottom of the stock shock. Check his thread on his lift kit for pics
Good Luck

i got jesses kit. it was recommended to toss the block and get longer shocks. if stock is 919520, and 2" lift gets 921520 then perhaps you 'll find a number 923520 ?Golf Cart wrote:Nick,
