Being that there are very few Delicas out this way, I was wondering if anyone from the Saskatoon area could share their tips/experiences on finding a local mechanic?
We are looking to form a long-term relationship with a friendly and competent local establishment.

Re: Experienced Delica mechanics in Saskatoon?
Hi
I live in Saskatoon and have found:
Prairie Autohaus : 652-0888 - Yogi
He supervises all the mechanics and is familiar with the units.
I've had him do the timing belt / balancer ... stuff and he will explain
Everything in detail to you if you need it.
Downside is they are usually pretty busy so book ahead.
D&D Imports in PA: http://www.ddimports.ca
(306) 922-2554
Special note here. Derek is at times forgetful so you have to remind him
constantly about what you need and such. Don't let him put you off though
his mechanic is amazing. I go for the mechanic and the $60 /hr shop rates.
OK Tire on 8th street.
They are familiar with the imports including the delica. Minibrutes sends alot
of their tire/shock work there.
Minibrutes - Saskatoon
They are doing more and more mechanical work on the stuff they sell which
is now including the engine stuff.
My recommendation is D&D Auto.

You know... I never really thought about Delica Canada as a dating service. We could be onto something here.... smiles.VirtualJJ wrote:We are looking to form a long-term relationship with a friendly and competent local establishment.
