FYI:
i was at Kelowna Princess Auto (again... ) today and found H3 bulbs on sale for $2.99.
Uni-Bond brand?? 12V55W. Part #8005402. http://www.princessauto.com/truck-trail ... logen-bulb
they aren't an amazing brand or anything, but would make a cheap emergency bulb. I tossed 2 into my "field repair kit".
Roads!? Who the hell needs roads!?,

Thanks for info, will get some for my offroad spares kit.
OOOH, Princess Auto, aaaahh, for my birthday treat Jay is taking me there to get the bulbs, and then to the motorbike show, gosh Jay treats me like a Princess....
PS this Saturday is the Princess Auto one day sale ... bargains ... last time we got huge tow straps for cheap ... we get the kind with NO metal hooks just the super strong fabric sewn loops at end.
Cheers, Christine. PS When R U visiting us again, we miss you.

Aren't those usually snatch straps not tow straps when it's a big loop at the end? I know the straps I have seen with the loops have all been snatch straps and all the tow straps had hooks. but you never know.

Either one can be made either way, I've seen both tow and snatch straps with the loop, and I even once or twice saw snatch straps with hooks (though I don't think it was likely a good idea)
More important is reading the label and/or package to make sure you know which it is and how to use it properly.
