Imagine this setup on a Delica

Post by Van Diesel »

An off road van but not a Delica. It's a portal axle conversion for the T5 VW van. The ground clearance is amazing.

At about 3:00 they show a side-by-side comparison of the difference this kit offers. Click the "more info' on the side bar of this video, there's a lot of extra info. It costs 25,000 € but the full kit includes much more than portal extensions.

Here's Seikel's website with the T5 extreme products.

I drool when I think about a kit like this on my van.

Ya, portal axles on the front, portal axles with independent suspension in the rear to eliminate issues with the short driveshaft. Now that would be a kick-ass offroader! And you could put on big tires without a lift kit!
