I just had Butch and crew install the side exit one today. It's high quality and awesome, not too loud (can better hear the turbo spooling) and the engine feels like it's had a bit of weight lifted off its shoulders. My Jasper had pretty good power before but now it definitely feels a little peppier and doesn't seem like it's straining so much when going up hills back to the North Shore. (No EGT gauge yet.)

Kudos to CVI for an excellent job in spite of a little difficulty getting the old pipe out on account of my E&H hitch. Butch also gave me a blow by blow guide of things to watch out for under my ride and in the engine compartment. Very informative and well worth the visit.

Hey guys and gals
I sure hope an owner with a new SS exhaust comes to the Meet on Friday night at Ikea. That is a piece of art, a jewel, a diamond in the rough. I hope my exhaust rots out soon. :-D :-D

See ya at Ikea.

Hey I am considering replacing my rusted exhaust and the stainless price tag is an issue.
After chatting with CVI I got a quote for 800 bucks.
Sound about right?

Cheers,

If you look further back in this thread you'll see that $800 is the installed price (for the full length exhaust). The side exit version which I got is $675 installed.

Well worth it considering the high quality and that it includes installation. Earlier prices were minimum $1000 installed, some even much higher.

I'm making the pilgrimage to CVI this week and am stoked! It coincides with reading break and much needed time away from the Kootenays.
Going in for the 2.5" SS side exit exhaust and the much anticipated and recommended Delica tune. Can't wait to get it all done and pick the brains of Butch and crew as well, hoping to learn lots and ride away happy.

Butch, i'm interested in the 2 1/2" side exit exhaust, but now that i'm in Ontario I obviously don't need it installed.

What would the price be just for the exhaust (NOT including greyhound shipping to ON)

Thanks,
Adam
