Re: Bd28oil filter
I think bd7095 would be better because it is bigger.
Also you can see http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showflat. ... ost1134100
Does anybody consider group buy?

Re: Bd28oil filter
What's the one with the drain bolt in the bottom? Because the oil filter is oriented vertically when fitted, it would better to have the one with the drain so as not to slop oil all over when removing.

Re: Bd28oil filter
Both BD28 and BD7095 filter are without drain valve.
You can see here http://www.equipmax.net/baldwin/CGI_BIN ... earch=BD28
and http://www.equipmax.net/baldwin/CGI_BIN ... rch=BD7095.
I think BD7095 is bigger and will be better than BD28. Great quality, made in USA.
Also here is a fuel filter http://catalog.baldwinfilter.com/partsp ... ber=BF7534, not sure it is with drain, have to research.
Last time (about 2 years ago), Peterbuit sold filters by boxes only, that is why I am looking for "group buy".
It is wise to get them to have for couple years in your locker and really cheap in your locker rather than running around town when you need oil change and pay more.
The same thing with diesel oil, going to buy for several changes at least.
I am going to pick my second Pajero next Tuesday. So two weeks more to make up minds, guys!

Re: Bd28oil filter
I have been using BD7028 for a year now and have no complaints.. 15W-40 Rotella for summer and 5w -40 Rotella Synthetic for winter.. .been religiously changing oil every 5K.
I get it from Ontario Filter (they deal with trucks) some how it was cheaper than fram.
good luck!

Re: Bd28oil filter
OIC,
I thought may be it is a good idea to buy oil from Peterbuilt as well...
I used Rotella 10W40 in my first Pajero. It was just great stuff...
Thanks,
