transfer case oil change

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

transfer case oil change

i was doing an oil change on my 91 l-300 and decided to change my transfer case oil why i was at it and emptied the front one and embarassingly i cant figure out how to put in new oil now can someone point me the right way.

You need to pump it in. The tool looks like a grease gun with a flexible plastic tube on the end. Draw the "80-90 wt gear case oil" out of the container and then pump it into the transfer case. When it overflows turn the plug back in and tighten.

I don't know where you buy the pump from in Fanny Bay. I bought mine from KMS tools but Can tire may sell it. They accept used engine oil/filters to recycle.

CVI recomended to drain/refill a quart of trans fluid every time you change engine oil. Don't forget wheel bearings once a yr and at the same time as grease nipples.

Can tire sells a 5$ screw top for gear oil thingee.
Basically it allows you to get the bottle up higher
than the hole and squeeze the bottle to fill.
I got one and it works great. Has an on/off valve
and does the job.
