I have noticed many Delica's with multiple uncovered fog lights. If I remember some of my research on my Toyota 4Runner correctly, it is only legal to have 2 fog lights on normal roads without a covering over them, and these fogs must be within a few inches of height of the main headlights.
Has anyone had any difficulties with multiple lights and light bars and the authorities? Am I remembering the law in regards to light bars and British Columbia correctly? (I could not for the life of me find this in google, and I am sure I asked this question on BC4x4.com before...)

Re: Foglight Legality
Your fog lights and auxiliary driving lights need not be covered (and they should be mounted below the centre-line of your headlights), but a light bar (which would be above the headlights) is for off-road use and therefore should be covered. If you've got a spotlight on the light bar, it needn't be covered.
So, you could have your headlamps, two fog lamps, and two driving lamps, all uncovered.

Re: Foglight Legality
In BC the only fog/spot lights where covers are mandatory are at headlight level and/or above headlight level.
Below headlight level does not need to be covered.
Many factory vehicles have 4+ foglights at/below headlight level with no application for covers.

As the general consensus appears to be that I do not know what I'm talking about, and cause more harm than good, I am removing this post so that others are not tricked in to following my ill-advised instructions.
