running weird
my van has started to run worse and worse... it has a shudder when taking off and when changing gears, only noticeable from 1st to second tho. my fuel economy has gotten pretty bad about 400- 450 per tank and it tends to be getting hotter faster... hits about 2 3rds the way up the meter, i have no idea how hot that is so its kind of useless. starts in the morning are getting worse as well, even starting to stall once or twice and runs rough for about 30 seconds and its not that cold out. any ideas???

Re: running weird
Hey 1733
First things I would be checking are:
Coolant level
Coolant colour
Oil Level
Oil Colour - any foamy-ness
How does the exhaust smell/look? Is it sweet smelling?
All these things may indicate a head gasket issue, though that's sorta rare.
Check tightness of glow plugs and injectors re. possible compression loss.
After that, I'd be taking it somewhere for a professional opinion
Could also just be a slipped timing belt.
Hope everything works out for you.

Re: running weird
sounds like an air leak in the fuel system.
