I took some time last weekend to install a new floor in the van.
we will be spending the summer camping in the van with our dog,
so in order to avoid months of wet dog smell the carpet had to go.
after looking at flooring options I followed the path of fexlboi's first dino and used resilient flooring.
I chose 5/8" ply as my base. Found some rubber underlay at a carpet store and bought the resilient flooring at home depot.
45 sq. ft. rubber commercial underlay at a carpet store. $45
2 4x8' sheets 5/8" ply $40
2 boxes resilient flooring $120
aluminum angle iron $25
stainless steel screws $3
been enjoying a much quieter cab since the floor went in.
Will be posting more as we camperise the van over the next 6 weeks
Heres some pics of the finished product!
cheers colby

I like the quieter part. That's a great way to cut interior noise.

Well done cobsweb! Nice to see someone actually got inspired to do the same.
This was one of the most practical mods I did on Dino for sure. Will do it again on Dino Evo this summer.
