Coolant leak

Post by visotzky »

I Had some nasty sludge in the reservoir, so I had my rad and engine flushed. Then i noticed i had developed a coolant leak in one of the lower hoses at the back of the motor. The leak is at the clamp. tightening only made it worse.
Any body have an idea on part #?
What would cause a yellow sludge?
Does the hose need to go past the ribbed bit?
Thanks
Val

do you know if the leak is the hose, or the fitting, can you just cut an inch off the hose? re-clamp? is the hose cracked from age? in a pinch, could you just go get a universal hose , can you post a pic to show more of where you mean.
