How many Saskatchewan members are there?
Please post here if you are a resident of Saskatchewan, and where abouts on the plains you are located!

I lived in Three Hills, AB, once and my mom's from Meota - does that count? That's as close as I get.
Good poll: you're definitely getting a concentration of JDMs out that way. BTW, don't forget the two SWBs the city of Saskatoon has. Are they still driving them?

Did your mom know any of the East's from Meota??? Jackfish Lake has finally come back enough that you don't have to walk for 1/2hr to get water past your ankles!
And to answer your question, yes it counts through genetics!

Also, just remembered, my dad's family immigrated to the Yarbo area, so I guess I get some cred from his side too.

How did you two find your rides???
Saskdelica, is your rig intercooled? Is it still the 8 seater? how long have you had your Delica's for?
Have you driven them in the wind yet

Re: How many Saskatchewan members are there?
Hey,
I'm from Saskatoon, but only spend my summers there, so I didn't check "resident".
95 SWB Spacegear is still in Vancouver. It will roll into town in late June.
If all goes to plan, Jeanne-Claude will be seen hauling people and gear between music festivals and canoe trips for most of the summer.
Cheers.

Re: How many Saskatchewan members are there?
I'm based out of Saskatoon and my 95 Delica Spacegear turbo Diesel should be arriving early May... hopefully. Importing yourself can be a little nerveracking. Does anyone know where the best (and cheapest) place to get DOT headlights for a Delica Spacegear? Any help would be awsome.

We found our Delica listed on Kijiji. Bought it in December so it's had a good winter test.
Last week we had a big windstorm while driving home from Rosetown. 70 kph winds so we got knocked around a good bit. Sure slowed us down too. Had to back off on the throttle to 80 kph.

Only spend your summers here? Sound like a smart person! I'm pretty sure when its -35 out 95% of the people who live here wish they were somewhere else!

Tinytoy:
I guess I should be posting in the forum. I got all the initial work done at CVI in Richmond. I was pretty happy with the thoroughness of the job even though the little things added up quickly. I've done everything else myself but then I havent had any mechanical problems yet. This website has been a valuable resource so far as it prepared me for driving the Delica through the mountains - it reacted a little different from a F 350.

Don't worry about where you post! I have been a bit lazy lately and have only been checking active topics and haven't been signing in
I had my toaster on wheels imported through the same company I bought my Suzuki Carry from. Minibrutes.
Mine was the first Delica they had ever imported so it was a learning vehicle for both there staff and myself ( AKA pestering the heck out of Firesong )
The whole experience has left me apprehensive about taking the van on road trips, as it has broke down due to T belt skipping cogs twice
All fixed no charge(new belt after 2nd skip) but in that time we have really needed a reliable vehicle. The Delica with reclining seats and curtains would be the best vehicle for trips back and forth to Regina but the consequences of a break down on these trips would be huge.
Hope all the issues are in the past and the Camovan is up for some highway miles!
TT
