wet feet

Post by snbeffort »

Hello I've just bought a 92 Exeed with the Crystal lite roof option. I am pretty new to the Delica's and this site has been great so far for answering a few of my questions. One thing that I am particulary curious about is it seems that condensation is soaking up through the under body underneath both the driver and passenger floor area where the floor mats are. I've looked underneath and this area does not seem overly rusted out. Has anybody had this problem and is there a fix for it.
Thanks very much,
Steve

SNB
That's a common problem on the L300s. Search wet floors on the search function or try this repair at http://www.delica.ca/forum/wet-floors-a ... =wet+floor.

Wet with what? If it's water then consider Lazy Brown Fox's suggestion. But if it's oily then I would consider checking your brake fluid ~ your master cylinder is up behind your instrument panel and has been known to leak.

Right on. Thanks for getting back so quick. It is just water and the link you posted looks like the fix I'm looking for.
Thanks
Steve.
