Re: FS: Stainless Steel Side Exhaust
That's an interesting exhaust
Does it bolt right onto the flange/downpipe? That means it comes out right behind the front tire?
Have you tried how loud it is?

Re: FS: Stainless Steel Side Exhaust
It bolts directly onto the existing downpipe flange.
imagine its plenty loud being that its a straight pipe flared out.
probably hear more turbo spool than anything else.
no airflow restriction here.
exhaust arrives on may 25th along with a few more L300 ladders.

Re: FS: Stainless Steel Side Exhaust
What diameter is the little nub in between the flange and the 2.5" pipe ?

Re: FS: Stainless Steel Side Exhaust
I'll fit this exhaust as soon received
probably wont keep it as pyro bung already welded into current exhaust
from the looks of it, the "little nub" sits far enough away from the flange so as not to interfere with the nuts/springs.

I see what your getting at, but judging from the quality of construction I doubt such a flaw.jfarsang wrote:What diameter is the little nub in between the flange and the 2.5" pipe ?

Re: FS: Stainless Steel Side Exhaust
pretty clearly looks like 2 1/4 to start for an inch or so then - 2 1/2 inches ....
just a guess.

Re: FS: Stainless Steel Side Exhaust
pretty sure there is not enough room between the springs for 2 1/2" all the way to the flange.
check out this thread for some pics of the area.

even fexlboi's newest 2 1/2" SS side exhaust narrows to clear the springs.
