So we sold our delica, paid off some debts and went without a vehicle for a bit (oh wonderful city conveniences!). Then we realized we need a vehicle for all the camping/roadtrips we do. We then acquired a hilux surf... and just have never been as happy when we owned a Delica. I wish we never sold...
Just thought I would reminisce in a place where everyone understands the love of a wonderful van

No L400 for me... I have to get rid of the surf, and then save up for an L300.

Hey, you can still come to the Deli Meets and sit in other deli's and you can drive mine around, and you can come camping with the group (we let other non-deli's along). Come to the CVI Show and Tell and BBQ this Saturday 11 to 3 to reminisce... we'd love to see yer surf. Cheers, Christine.

Ahhh,
No wonder we didn't see you guys around!
I'll save my Low roof Delica for you guys when you're ready to make the move... as my Pajero should be here in a few weeks.
And yes, would be great to have you drop by at CVI this Saturday. I should be there around 1pm.
Cheers,
David

You should get rid of the Surf and save up for a SWB Pajero: as fun as Star Wagon, but just that little bit cooler lookin' and stylin'.josh wrote:No L400 for me... I have to get rid of the surf, and then save up for an L300.

Yeah, for some of us nothing works as well as an L300! We explore the northwest and northeast often via truck, bicycle, and motorbike (OK, yeah that one is fun). But a nicely set up L300 would just rock as a longer voyage set up, and would go nicely into Isaan, Laos, Cambodia, and S Vietnam for extend family touring.mararmeisto wrote:You should get rid of the Surf and save up for a SWB Pajero: as fun as Star Wagon, but just that little bit cooler lookin' and stylin'.josh wrote:No L400 for me... Feeling it Josh! Hope all is well with the new family.

I agree Kev, nothing beats an L300. The fam is great. Hows yours? Is everything going well there? It sounds a bit nuts, but I guess you are out of the chaos.
