Need to move in?

Post by delicat »

Hey guys,

Not sure if it's appropriate to post this here but I'd rather have someone from the community than a perfect stranger... My tenants just told me they are moving out at the end of June so I'll have a 2 bedrooms available for July. It's in Burnaby, Upper DeerLake...

Cheers,
David

We rented David's suite but we have a tip for anyone looking for an apartment in Burnaby.

Our soon to be ex-apartment is a one-bedroom, top floor corner suite with a balcony and a nice view (through scattered Metrotown towers) of mountains. Windows windows windows all around (corner suite). One nice touch is that the sun rises between the buildings in the morning and fills the whole main living space with light. Really its the best suite in the building.

Rooms: SMALL kitchen, dining area, living room, master bedroom with double closet, normal sized bathroom. It is carpeted wall to wall, I guess to reduce noise.

The location is on the same block as Patterson skytrain, adjacent to a large park. Walking distance to just about everything including Metrotown, Station Square and Crystal Mall, supermarkets, auto co-op cars, restaurants galore, Burnaby Library (it rocks, no really)... Very central and convenient for commuting.

The building is decent, has underground parking, storage lockers, bike room, is mostly quiet (we had a spurt of loud neighbors during hockey playoffs but that's over) and the superintendant couple is stellar (we will miss them most). In this area, it is one of the nicer buildings on the right side of the tracks; well lit street, well patrolled, safe.

The price is quite good: we're paying 997 heated, secure parking is 45/mth.

To be honest we weren't looking to move but we liked David's space and his family so much, and I yearn for a bigger kitchen and an office.

Spread the word around, I'd like to see this sweet deal go to good people. Avail July 1.
