Oil Filter Help in Calgary

Post by robinimpey »

Does anyone know where I can get an Oil filter for my '91 Delica in Calgary? Got half way through an oil change and my new filter is the wrong size. Argh! What are the part numbers for oil filters for our Delicas that we can buy locally?

Thanks,

Robin

You probably have this sorted out by now, but I'd recommend calling ahead a few hours before you leave to make sure they are in stock. They may not have them in-store, but they will have some in town that they can send over on a few hours notice.

I have purchased filters from Dennis and his products are affordable and of good quality. I would recommend Dennis for filters.

Best - Baldwin BD28 (Union Tractor, Traction, Peterbuilt, etc)
Good - Wix 51067 ~ Napa 1067 (Available at NAPA, and other Wix Retailers)
Bad - FRAM-PH6355 (I would not recommend it)

I've been using the Fram PH6355 from PartSource with no problems. About $33.

As I just mentioned in another thread, the Calgary Kenworth dealer (Blackfoot & 58 Ave SE) carries Baldwin. Might not have in stock, call ahead.

Price for air filter, which they had in stock and found without any part number, was really good. Can't remember exactly, but quite cheap.
