Thanks for the help!

Well, Jeanne-Claude Van Diesel made it from Vancouver to her new home in the Paris of the Prairies and is settling in well.

I want to thank everyone who helped with advice on the purchase and road trip.

Especially, I want to thank Mardy, Jay and Christine for helping me get oriented with J.C.

Christine and Jay were so helpful in getting me ready to hit the road. Jay went far above the call of hospitality, walking me through the electrical system and even busting out his pop riveter while suffering from a debilitating illness.

Tomorrow we go for OOP inspection, then registration in the afternoon.

I've picked up the first pieces of the road trip puzzle : 12 kettle from Wally world, (hate shopping there, but they had it!) BaTTEry booster/ 400w inverter from Cambodian Tyre, thermos from Princess Otto (best purchase so far.)

Looking at at Coolitron 12v cooler on sale at C.T. this week. Thanks for the tips Christine, and for the bed, and the food, and your time!!!

peace.

I too stayed at the Tardis Motel, and was assisted and given knowledge on all things deli. Jay and Christine are wonderful people and were a Huge help. Jay provided technical expertise or just a reassuring support if when needed. Christine introduced me to the Vancouver deli community. I also met lots of great deli owners that provided lots of ideas.

I second the recommend for OK Tire on 8th. I just had my inspection on Friday, and knowing Mardy's work, you should have no problems at all.
